Account Manager
Woodruff Sweitzer is looking for a new member to join our account service team, someone that’s got an eye for the big picture yet pays attention to the smallest details. Someone who can take a project from point A to point B but can also climb up to a bird’s-eye view, take a look around, and finds ways to add value for clients at each step through thoughtful, imaginative and unexpected solutions.
Our account service team members are problem solvers, idea generators, and client-relationship builders. We are that trusted client partner who understands their challenges and spearheads the efforts to compile the best agency thinking to bring the ideas to address them.
We need confidence, not cockiness; communication skills and passion; intuition and the experience to back it up. An enthusiastic doer that can take direction, work with the clients and manage budgets and timelines. You’ve got to know the ad biz so you can work closely with clients and other agency disciplines on ads, brochures, collateral, digital, PR, content and more.
Oh, and you must be genuine. Have the humility and hunger to learn and recognize that ideas can come from anywhere, anyone. Identify and appreciate individual roles. Value work ethic and recognize the importance of trust and respect. We’re all about driving toward a common goal, a team goal, versus individual motivations of success. Can’t be driven by ego.
If you have 5-8 years of agency experience with a B.A. or B.S. degree in a discipline related to advertising, marketing, journalism or communications, we want to hear from you. A focus in pet care, companion animal health and/or pet food is a plus.
